Особенности формирования рабоче-крестьянской милиции первого советского белорусского государства в 1919–1921 гг.

Abstract

Аннотация На основе анализа историографии и исторических источников рассматриваются особенности формирования рабоче-крестьянской милиции Социалистической Советской Республики Белоруссии в 1919–1921 гг. = Based on the analysis of historiography and historical records, the article examines the specific features of the formation of the workers’-and-peasants’ militia of the Socialist Soviet Republic of Belarus in 1919–1921. It is deter-mined that its formation took place in the difficult domestic and foreign political environment in which the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic found itself, as well as in the context of the formation of the Russian Soviet militia and the legal basis for its activity. The end of the Soviet-Polish war was of key importance for the organization of permanently operating and normally functioning militia on the territory of Soviet Belarus.
